Do you like blackberries? Are you bored with blackberry cobbler and would like to try cooking something new? Or would you like to learn how to grow your own blackberries? On April 16th, the Gillespie County Extension office will hold their first 2021 Grow It Cook It program, Blissful Blackberries. Come learn how to grow blackberries and watch recipe demonstrations.
This program will be hosted

at the new Gillespie County Extension Office, located at 38 Business Court. It will be from 12-1 pm.
Blissful Blackberries is the first program of the three part Grow It Cook It program series. The other two programs are “Better Bell Peppers” on August 20th and “Beaming Beets” on October 1st. Cost for individual programs are $15 dollars each or $25 dollars for the entire series. Payment should be made by cash or check, made out to Gillespie County ANR Committee. Pre-registrations are preferred.
