Hill Country Vegetable Survey

The goal of the Hill Country Vegetable survey is to determine easy to grow vegetables for a home garden or small farm that is located in the Texas Hill Country. This year the theme vegetables are Broccoli, Potatoes, and Yellow Squash

If you are a resident of Blanco County and would like to sign-up, please contact Carley Howell at carley.howell@ag.tamu.edu or 830-868-7167. If in a different county, to sign-up please email Beth McMahon at elizabeth.mcmahon@ag.tamu.edu or call the extension office at 830-997-3452.  You will be considered officially signed up after you respond to the email the week of February 12th. Sign-ups will conclude February 9th, 2024. If you received the sign-up email and completed registration, plants will be passed out the week of February 20th-23rd, 2024. Participation is free. There are 25 spots per vegetable. You do not have to sign up for all three vegetables, but you must grow both varieties of the vegetable you sign up for. No GMO vegetables will be knowingly used in this survey.
